2013 hyundai sonata

just checking.... so from what I've read, wife's 2013 sonata should use xerex asian or oem coolant only? It needs a little bit in the reservoir.

Id stick with OEM coolant.

Stick with OEM. Hyundai is very picky when it comes to aftermarket items found during a warranty repair.

The label on the Hyundai 00232-19010 Long Life Coolant/Antifreeze states that it contains no amines, silicates, or borates and does contain sodium benzoate and potassium hydroxide.

That's the typical Asian coolant, similar to Subaru, Mitshubishi, Toyota, etc..

In my Kia and Hyundai's I use the Zerex Asian formula ...No issues - OEM would be good as well ...
