I planked a couple of pork chops tonight (from our local locker). The sweet smoke from the maple plank, along with a balsamic vinegar/beer glaze made them smoky-sweet, tender and moist.
Maple and pork are a match made in heaven.
For desert we had some fresh baked banana bread, still warm from the oven. We topped it with some homemade raspberry jam.
Dinner just doesn't get much better than this.
