I need Blackstone Oil Kit

It's time for a change but I have no kit, and BL's website says I have to wait 1-2 weeks. :-( Can I buy a kit in the local Pep Boys or other shop?

Will Blackstone accept any kit, even if it's not theirs?

Go online and fill out one of their slips and use the bottle from another kit.

According to their website, you can use anything for your sample (clean at least), then transfer the oil when you get their kit. I got my kit in a few days, even though they said up to two weeks.

I went online at Blackstone at about 9:00 PM Friday, October 18th, and requested 5 sample kits - they were free* - had them by the afternoon of Monday, October 21st. They're in Indiana, I'm in Florida. Pleasantly surprised how fast they responded.

* of course you have to submit some form of payment to them for the $25+ analysis cost when you send them your sample.
