Does anyone know if there is an oversized oil filter that is an appropriate replacement for the either the Mobil M1-204 or K&N HP-2004?

Thanks...

This is the list I've compiled. Someone correct me if I'm wrong: M1-301, PH-8A, ST-8A, FL-1A, K&N 3001, & PF-2.

Would anyone know what the oversized replacement for a K&N HP-1002 is?

muchas gracias

IIRC—the much larger (length and diameter) oversize filters are the same ones I posted above. If you want something that’s larger in diameter and only slightly larger in length, the ones in the first post of this thread should work—there are more of these in the last post of this thread: http://theoildrop.server101.com/cgi/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=6;t=000216

Thanks very much for the information.

I'm I correct to assume that as long as the tread size is right, the gasket is in the same position as OEM and of course assuming the larger filter fits, it is safe to use, or are there other things to consider, like bypass pressure?
