+1. I think it was a smart idea running them both. Now you've got actual data on how much longer you can run the oil as well as data on wear metals shed,which in both examples looked pretty good.
Wise investment. You've acquired data,which now instills confidence as far as comparative wear and how long you can run it.
You've now got options that have proven themselves in your application. Buy whichever is on sale when you are changing the oil and know both are quality products.
I found it interesting how different the 2 oils additive packages are in relation to their use of friction modifiers and anti-wear.
I wonder what we aren't seeing in the castrol example since,to me anyways,the M1 looks stronger on paper.
