I have a 2010 Toyota Camry 2.4 Hybrid

I like to use an oversize filter if possible because I like the extra filtering capacity (not here to debate oil filter sizes).

Can anyone give me a part number for an oversize filter to fit my engine?

Some web sites list a Purolator 14476 as your filter...

Purolator's web site lists a 14477, same base and bypass pressure, half an inch longer...

PL14477 would be my choice...

Doesn't your Camry use the new style filters where you only change the paper media? I'm not sure if you can go oversized using the housing that holds the filter.

They aren't like the old school filters.

This link shows the setup.

Still a spin-on for the 2010 hybrid.

Apparently the 2012 Camry Hybrid switched to a cartridge filter.

As for "old school", I remember cartridge filters used for some GM cars from the 80s. They weren't necessarily like the current ones where there's some sort of foam as the end caps. Many looked like the inside of a spin on filter but maybe with an oversized tube to mate with the fitting.

aka ... a cartridge oil filter.

Go to the Baldwin site and find a larger filter for your car. I don't know how wide the filter can be or how long before it's to BIG.
Baldwin shows a filter(B37) 2 9/16" X 3 1/2"long, take a look at the B1416. I found a few oversize filters but they could be to large.
Here is the oversize filter I run on my S2000 next to the stock filter and a Napa filter for the S2000

What is your OCI duration, and do you intend to alter it significantly?
Adding capacity, over the OEM choice that probably already can go 2x the OCI, is moot.
Do it because you "want" to, not because you'll ever see any tangible benefit.

Donaldson has a nice attribute search feature; you can look up your filter, then search others based upon the physical criteria (threads, gasket size, etc).

Beforewarned about the warranty risks of venturing off the reservation ...
