I did this UOA as recommended by Dr.AEHass.It Seems to be Mobil1 0w-20 is fine in my engine even though 0w-20 grade is not recommended to my engine.

Agreed; after 10,200 miles and wear metal readings like those and a remaining TBN of 6.7 with no other issues, I would have kept on rocking with that fill until 30,000KMS and re-sampled.

Was there something happening that caused you to dump it?

Is this UOA from an oil with only 2500 kilometers?
Did you really change this oil out after such a short run?
I can't imagine the cost of M1 0W-20 in Australia.

Oops; I stand corrected. I thought there was 16,500 KMS (10,200 MILES) on the oil (that was the total car mileage). After re-reading the post I see that it was 2,500 KMS (1,550 MILES) on the oil (which explains the nice overall numbers).

Why was this dumped?

I run this in my Hyundai Accent 1.6L. Use to use 5w30 and would use a 1/2 quart or so between 7k oil changes. Since going to the 0w20 the oil consumption has stopped.

92k miles and just had the valve cover off and clean as can be.

Hi.
No perfectly fine with 0w-20.Engine was much quieter with Fuchs 0w-20, even much much quieter than the freshly filled mobil1 5w-30.

Yes i did change the oil but didn't through the oil saved it for my old Camry.(Which run on anything.)
Paid A$67 for 6 quarts.
Mobil1 5w-30 A$ 67.50 for 5L bottle from local auto parts shop.(25% discount.)

Doesn't show the approval on the bottle like 5w-30.May be old batch.
API SN
ILSAC GF5
ACEA A1/B1

That equates to around $64.00 USD at current excahnge rates, which is not too much dearer than what you'd pay at a parts chain here at normal shelf price, but way more than the $25.00 you'd pay at Walmart.
Why did you run the oil such a small number of kilometers?
Why not run it to 10KK and then do your UOA?

5W-30 may be the recommended grade in OZ but you do know TGMO 0W-20 is the spec' oil in NA. I wouldn't over think this other than to say a light 0W-20 satisfies the viscosity requirements of the engine but like most engines it will tolerate heavier oil grades at the expense of efficiency.

THIS is why I use synthetics, from Day 2.
