i just talked to a guy that i work with at my retail job, and he has a 425 horse mustang gt with royal purple 10w30 and a mobil 1 oil filter. He seemed to know his car knowledge pretty well with all his mods, plus he even said that if the filter was that restrictive, that he wouldn't use it. He also uses a fram filter in the winter when he doesn't drive it and its put away( i already told him the horror story of fram, and he already knew). I think personally it doesn't really matter what filter we really get as long as it isn't a fram filter. Sure, oil filters don't really have much information to them, but i think the top ones like mobil 1, bosch, wix, napa, pureone(aka motorcraft filters also), k&n, and ac delco ultraguard are some pretty good filters to pick from.

when i reccomend oil filters to other people i sugggest them get any of those top filter makers you listed. but on my cars (that my family owns) i use bosch premium, stp or any of the wix clones.
