Purolator Pure One to Mobil 1

Unfortunately the Purolator catalog doesn't even list the Mobil 1s as cross references. I do know the Mobil 1 oil filter book lists Purolator though. Hopefully someone here can look it up for you (we don't have Mobil 1 filters here)

Tried running cross references:

This is the Baldwin filter B161-S
http://www.baldwinfilter.com/catalog.html

This is the Wix filter: 51338
http://www.wixfilters.com/filterlookup/index.asp

I just couldn't get back to Mobil #'s It seema there may be none.

For what it's worth, Baldwin lists it as:
M 20 x 1.5 mm threads
3 1/32 in OD
4 1/16 Length
20 psi Bypass

Wix lists it as:
M 20 x 1.5 mm threads
3.272 in OD
4.1 In. high
13-19 psi Bypass

Wix applications:
Ford Probe(89-92), Mazda 626,MX-6, B2200 (83-90)

Baldwin Applications:
Ford, Honda, Mazda Automotive

Seems you could look up the M1 filter for 89-91 Probe?

An M1-104 is the short/narrow version, an M1-105 is the short/fat version. The M1-105 has about 30% more capacity. I'm running the M1-105's on my Honda's.

Be careful here neither of the M1-104 or M1-105 correlated back to the 14458 (via the WIX or Baldwin Cross reference. Like I said, not saying you are wrong.

I know Purolator (P14458) and PureOne (PL14458?) are the same as the Mobil1 M1-104. Used for most 1988+ Honda and Acura vehicles. Purolator 24459's are a longer filter than the 14458's.

As far as I know, the usual Purolator filters for Honda are 14459, not 14458. (Just a typo, I guess.)

Can anyone explain the difference between the 24458 and 14459?

Hondas have only used two unique oil filters over the years, I believe the 24458 is made to replace the "older" filter. The other day I was looking at Supertech, and the guide says that ST2808 is used for both applications. So I don't know what's different about Honda's two filter?
