We have a bunch of them at work, I haven't heard anybody from Production complain about them. They get used a lot.

I also have the Irwin automatic strippers they work great. Klein now sells some that are exactly the same in function but they are better quality.

How old are your Irwins? The one on Amazon has good earlier reviews but reviews in 2013 are bad.

The Klein referenced here is not "automatic"; I don't want to select the correct sized hole (sorry!)

I used to have a plastic el cheapo version and it worked great for few years but eventually it stopped working and now I have lost it.

That "as seen on TV" thing looks promising and if it really works as it is shown in the demo, then I am sold! But I suspect I am going to be extremely disappointed.

I use these Irwin's as well. AWESOME strippers. You just gotta get used to how they work. Can't beat em for less than $20.

I've had the Irwin automatic strippers for about 3 years.

Either will strip the sheath off NMB which is a very handy feature if you do any house wiring.

I have used those before. you just put it on the wire and squeeze. then the tube of insulation is slightly on the wire still so you could twist it if you want to.

I just picked this up at local Walmart for $12 and used it on a 12 gauge wire. It worked great on it. Of course it is made in china. I was not even looking for it. It was an impulse purchase.
