Picked up a set of the Snap-On shcp1 ratcheting cable style hose clamp pliers. I'm about 99% sure they are rebadged Mayhew but I can deal directly with my S/O dealer for warranty issues. Since he usually gives me a preferred customer discount they were cheaper as well $88 for Snap-On compared to $102 for the Mayhew.

I prefer the old school Mayhew 28650
Yep, I bought one of those, the Craftsman. Cool tool and very useful! The only way to do it right.
The mayhew has a weak cable. I once had to buy a Mayhew repair kit from a tool truck. It works fine now, but I really bothers me that I had to repair a tool.
