Toyota Echo Waterpump no clearance for removal

Removing original water pump from 2003 Toyota Echo following Toyota Maintenance manual procedure, removed pulley, then water pump bolts, separated pump body from block but the shaft and attached vanes are too long to clear car body frame and engine to remove.
Tried for almost an hour.
Is there a special trick to this?
Help Please.

Thanks Rolla7, I removed the 2 14mm RH engine mount bolts per the video link(that Echo in the video is just like my 2003) Supporting the oil pan with 3 ton floor jack and flat board to protect pan. Problem is the engine will not lower, even with said bolts removed, and slowly lowering jack.

Update: got the Engine to lower, There is a 14mm nut hidden on the underside of the RH mount. Thanks Guys.

New Water Pump mounted Hooray.
Now pilot bolt for RH engine mount will not line up for reattachment. aargh!

My xB has the same engine and similar tight fit. It was a similar pain to R&R the water pump. Glad you got it sorted out!
