Learned something new today.

Know two people who owned RX-8's. One was auto the other manual. Both were unreliable and required a lot of expensive off-warranty work and both people got rid of them after only a few years. High performance in a small package, yes, but the fuel economy of 18mpg is like a full size pickup. Not too impressed.
