GMC Acadia. 5w20 instead of 5w30, bad?

Take them up on it and watch them change the oil and filter... They should also give you a complementary oil change (synthetic 5w30) at no charge.

I would make them change it to 5w30 and makem give you you five quarts of top shelf and filter for diy later. Then go drain that into this milk jug, i burn it in my fuel oil garage heater. And use the argument they save money because they dont have to pay to get rid of it. And use it in the mower.
