Owner maintained 5k mile interval as advised by Blackstone on this first fill of Amsoil OE. Oil was dumped at time of test and refilled with Amsoil OE once again.

Blackstone comments:
Fuel dilution is still present, and that's bringing the viscosity down a bit, but at least wear metals look pretty good. Aluminum dropped down into the average range, and iron is quite a bit better than it has been. The fuel isn't exactly what we like to see, but as long as you're not seeing the oil level rising, it might not be something that requires any immediate attention. If you're idling a lot, or the engine sees other low RPM use, maybe that's why all the fuel is present. No coolant, water, or excess dirt was found. For now, use this interval due to all the fuel.

The iron does not look right. I would not expect using Amsoil OE diesel oil to cut the iron in half. Rotella T is probably as good or better oil than Amsoil OE.

TBN?
Oxidation?

Thanks for sharing.

I'm not really worried about TBN at a 5k interval. Blackstone's basic test doesn't include oxidation.

Apparently not in the case...
