LC/FP History

I heard it over and over that LC/FP have been used for 40+ years.

During how much of that time they were commercially available?

Have the formulas changed over the time period, due to the change in oil (SA - SM); and induction system (carb to EFI)?

If you do a search you'll find they were sold previously under the names Mircrolube and Esden oil.
