I'm not running an aem dryflow air filter in my stock airbox.

I'm still trying to understand UOAs...wouldn't the silver count be concerning?

Looks great. You should run it a lot further than that. I'd start off with a good 7,500 OCI with that oil.

which version of PU was this? Additive package looks a little different than the SN ones I've seen recently.

Same Pennzoil ultra 5w-30 that I've always gotten. I've since switched to Mobil 1 0w-40

Yes it looks good.
Don't know what the silver is from, didn't even know B'Stone tested for it. Maybe it is just the benefit (part of the silver lining) of using PU!

Zinc is too high. If you didn't add any additives, or a shot of a 40 grade oil, this could be a mistake in the uoa.

As a point of interest, attached is a UOA on another WRX with exactly the same mileage running the Idemitsu made Subie 5W-30:

I own an 07' WRX. The best WRX UOA's seem to be with 5W30's. Many in the WRX community hate the use of 5W30 in these cars with a passion.
