i saw a small bottle of cd 2 at advanced auto, its supposed ot raise viscoity of oil, disintigrate carbon off of rings packs, psitons ect, as advertised on hte bottle. comes in a 4 ro 6 oz looking bottle. think its any good?

No, raise as in make your oil into water. It was produced based on the thought that a very thin oil will circulate better and "clean" things out. It is around a low 20 weight fluid. It's mineral oil and a tad of calcium, less actually than in a comparable volume of motor oil. I absentmindedly bought 5 bottles at Big Lots b/c they were a "deal" at $1.30. But there's certainly not even $1.30's worth of product there.

Same goes for Rislone et al. Really, any of those thin fluids, if they don't have actual solvents in them, are in the same boat..
