Just started round 1 of ARX

There is so much information on this site, it's great. Looking forward to great realistic results with ARX. 05 Altima is used and wanted added protection of knowing there was less sludge or any other issues due to other operators lack of care. Piece of mind.
Also, help a newb out and give me some tips on how you guys open up the filters, hack saw, saws-all so I can take a look at my filters?

well i used a Saw-zall to open my filters.


probably not the best way to do it as you may contaminate the filter with metal shavings.

but i just started in spot and turned the filter with my other hand until it was cut all the way through....doesn't take long especially with some filters that have a really thin caseing

There's a great chance that you will not see any visible results from A-Rx on this engine.

Even if you don't, a maintenance dose will serve you well at every oil change.
