165,000 miles on Jeep 4.0

Out: My 6 qts. of 0-40 were in for 6,000+ miles on an M1 filter. I drained a qt., changed the filter with a new Purolator. I added 1 qt. of MMO and drove 500 hwy miles, 500 city miles. I used Bardhal engine flush for 15 minutes before I drained the mix.

In: 6 qts. PYB 10-40 & K&N filter. Next OCI: 6,000 miles.

Up until recently I've always had my oil changed at jiffy lube or some such places usually with penzoil I just did my first ever change on my own.

2000 chevy impala 3.8 LS
used my jack to get under
Used castrol non high mileage 10w30 next change will be high mileage I think
used a fram extra guard filter (might get a nicer one next time also)

This change was long overdue at 5-6k normally I do it every 3 months or 3000 roughly this time was closer to 6 months

Good job doing it yourself. I have to ask though, you didn't just use the jack to keep the car in the air right?

1992 Toyota Camry 2.2L. 170k, my dads car. Since Father's Day is on the rise, i treated him to an oil change and some other maintenance that he need done.

Out: SuperTech 10w-30 w/ Fram ExtraGuard - 5487 miles & 6.7 months
In: Quaker State Defy 10w-30 w/ Fram ToughGuard

Consumption is minimal, maybe half a quart over the OCI. Starting to see some oil spots on the concrete, so i switched it to HM. Put new tires on it as well and replaced some taillight bulbs!

On a side note, the oil filter is placed slightly upside down at a 45* angle. When i removed it, no oil was in the filter. Looks like the ExtraGuard ADBV failed quite nicely.
