Apart from ogling at the girl in that video, I have not been able to get any real information on that gizmo. It is not yet released and the site is very thin on the technical aspect of the device. All I know is that their platform has ability to do what you are asking for i.e. if I were doing the development for it, I could see it offering the features that you were looking for.

I agree. I am going to hold tight to see what kind of reviews it gets. I current have a Win 7.5 phone so it wouldn't matter if it were available tomorrow.

Not all ELM327 are created equal, there are Chinese knock offs that are not the real thing. This thread seems to mix up Code Readers with Actual Scan Tools. Simple Code Readers are not Scan Tools.
