Valvoline Max Life Engine Stop Leak & Conditioner

I wanted to ask what people here think of my plan to add max life engine stop leak to oils you can sometimes get for .99 or so before or after rebate to make them like standard Valvoline Max Life Oil when changing oil this is $4.00 a bottle but worth it if it saves me 2.19 a quart over the price of Max Life($3.19 A QUART CURRENTLY) if all the additives in the oil are concentrated in this little bottle(15 ounces treats up to 6 quarts)?

FWIW you might want to check out your local WM as they are blowing this particular product out.

I probably would not use this product unless I actually had signs of an oil leak. I don't think that putting this bottle of additive into regular oil would be the same or as good as just using the Maxlife oil. I think that this is mainly a stop leak product. I could be way off, though...

Yes, my 98 Sonoma has some minor leakage at the Main(what a Suprise at 133K) but not enough to cause me to have to add any oil during a normal OCI(3 to 5K) and that is why I like Maxlife and other High mileage oils.
