Update on stinky oil (ARX/LC)

I just wanted to let everyone know that the smell is gone.

I took about a 100 mile round trip at highway speeds. I checked the oil when I got back, none was burned off, but the smell was gone.

BTW - Yesterday, I drained the rinse oil on my wife's Santa Fe, and put new oil in with no LC this time (going to run 2 rinses like Frank said). The second rinse oil had the same smell as my truck, just not as bad.

You may have spilled some of the fluid on the exhaust manifold?
