Auto-Rx to clean this gunk out?

Just a bought a badly maintained engine block 2nd hand after my engine threw a bearing. My bad luck. I pulled the head and it was filth. The replacement engine is the only one the garage could get me and told me it was ok to run.?!
Now the block is in my car with my previous very clean cylinder head runs - fine.

I was wondering, if my cylinder head looked like this, what would the block be like??!!!!

Any ideas how to clean it up (engine block) whilst the engine is running?

Will it work it looks like a lump of carbon??!!!

autorx will get it clean if anything van. it works pretty slowly but it get the job done. have you done a compression test yet?

I have scrubbed it real clean now with KIWI kitchen degreaser. amazingly it removes all the varnish, oil stains, and yes manual labor + toothbrush worked wonders.

It is now sparkling clean, well, the cylinder head is anyway.

Now I am going to get some Auto-Rx and do the engine block whilst I am driving.

While you still have the engine block out, why don't you simply clean it out (manual labour) and then rebuild/blueprint your engine?

Get a scrubber and such as start scrubbing.

I know AutoRx works but frankly we all have to draw the line somewhere ...

I still would use Auto-Rx it will finish cleaning out your engine and ring packs cheap insurance good luck
