I have been here for a while raising my snake detection skills greatly
Stuff I used and favor:
A)Chevron w/Techron Fuel
B)Chevron w/Techron Concentrate
C)Berrymans B12 Chemtool
D)BG 44K
E)Redline S1
F)Marvel Mystery Oil
G)Motorvac
Stuff that I am curious in:
A)Seafoam
B)Fuel Power
C)H20 misting during idle
So is there any definate regime to follow that can get my internals to nearly spotless? My vehicle specs 87, prior to the board I only ran 93. Following the readings on deposits I know run the OEM recommendations.
My vehicle also burns about 1qt oil every 3,000 miles. This is within factory manual specifications. Is this sufficient to cause accelerated fouling of valve, piston top area?
Crankase has been run on Royal Purple, Mobil1, Amsoil, and German Castrol now exclusively. Only devations were factory and 2 drains of dino, and an Auto RX cycle.
