Techron in the middle of 15K OCI?

I have heard that injector cleaners may deplete additives in the oil. In the middle of my 15K run on M1 EP, I plan on changing the oil filter, and top off the oil. I want to run a tank with Techron before this. Bad idea? Or should I wait till 15K when I change the oil?

its a total myth, I used Techron on my wife's zx2 in the middle of a mobil 1 EP OCI. I pulled the oil early for other reasons, but it turned out the oil was fine and I could've left it in a lot longer.

You'll be fine. I'm running M1 EP for the 1st time in a truck with heavy duty service, so may only go 7500. Hard time sleeping at night going 15000, so I'll drain 'er early.

Techron Concentrate will not "deplete additives" at all.

Even after using tons of cleaners, my TBN was still 7.4. Using it once or twice in a 15K OCI won’t make a bit of difference to your oil. Unless of course your rings are shot, but that’s a different story.

Why do you want to change the filter? It should last the 15K along with your oil.

Well my question is.... How would a Fuel injector cleaner deplete oil additives?

If that is the case then all these gas stations (Chevron) that claim large amounts of cleaning additives - oil would be seriously harmed.
