whats a good cold climate gear grease for my opener?

3M makes a special spray for GDO's.
Or you could go a white lithium or silicone spray route.
Never lube a belt drive, and be sparing on a screw drive.
Less is more with the chain drives, and make sure you take your time to get it IN to the roller spindles on the door, don't just be spraying all over.
