Time in service: 12 months (April 2012 – April 2013)

Driving conditions: a mix of short trips and longer hwy trips; a lot of time spent just sitting in the garage on weekdays.

Oil filter: Mann (OEM)
Air filter: Mann (OEM)

Make-up oil: none

Sampling technique: Blackstone pump via dipstick tube.

Looks like you have changed good oil on a time basis as it appears to have plenty capacity left in it.

Bit high in copper but nothing to worry about!

Yup. The previous run was 16 months and the lab flagged it as "abnormal" due to the fact that TAN exceeded TBN. So I decided to pull back and stick to 12-month OCI now.

Yeah, still trying to figure out where it's coming from. Bearings, I guess?
 
Looks like I would just use the cheaper one out of the two both look very good, no clear "winner" from looking at the data. Very even. Thanks for the valuable info!
