Just wondering if anybody has seen a gun oil corrosion test lately. I just switched from remoil and triflow to CLP, though I do like the wipe the exterior surfaces with T9. Anyways i would like to see how these lubes stack up against each other as far as protection goes...

I see he tested G-96 which showed only a small amount of corrosion. I am 65 and have used this product for decades and can attest to its goodness. When I went off to college in the late 60's, I treated a .22 with this (barrel inside and out, bolt, trigger guard and all metal internals). The gun sat for years in a closet. When I finally got it out about a decade later, it was essentially rust free, the bolt cycled just fine and the only rust I did see was a very small (less thatn a pin head) spot on the trigger guard. Made a believer out of me and I have used it faithfully ever since.

Been using triflow and t9 for a while now, recently beginning to try clp. Glad to see my choices were wise.

Thanks for the link!
