Blackstone lab kit - payment question

Requested a kit from "Blackstone" laboratories. It came in the mail today. I'm debating which oil to have tested - I'm thinking the tar/asphalt stuff in the "Luv" machine.

I've never done this before. Can I send them a money order along with my sample to pay for the testing?

Yes. Or even a personal check. That's how I used to pay them. Unless something has changed recently...

If you plan on using them more or less regularly, I believe you can also set up an account with your credit card.

I've used Blackstone for the last 8 years and always been happy.

Polaris gives TBN along with nitration and oxidation. TBN is not the whole story. In simplistic terms, oxidation tells you about the condition of the basestock and TBN about the additives.
