Wow...price is good and it looks good on paper. Once my suplpy of M1 is up, this might just be something I try. Thanks for posting.

Interesting Oil. Blackstone didnt seem to know it was a Virgin unused sample.

I may try it for my next oil change. You can save a ton if you subscribe and save from Amazon with this oil...$27.61 delivered, no tax.

Very similar numbers to Liqui Moly Synthoil 5/40 which is also Moly free. Amsoil, Castrol and other major brand top of the range full synthetics are now Moly free and don't try and add any snake oil to them because they tend to form sludge if subject to chemical intereference.

Nice thin 40 weight that's a 502.00 spec. Nice that Mag1 by Warren posts their numbers in their PDS. I'm using its lesser dino cousin ST right now.

With a HTHSV of 3.7cP and a lowish VI of 170 this 5W-40 isn't any lighter than M1 0W-40 or PU 0W/5W-40.

The Phos' level of 921 ppm is in line with other PCMO 0W/5W-
40's.

It looks to be a decent oil but I'd take M1 or PU over it for their higher VI.

I don't see this oil on BMW or Mercedes approval lists.

Where's the moly. Top OEM oils have a decent dose. Racing oils too.

Not all oils have Moly, in fact quite a number of the best oils like GTX 5/30 (Part synthetic), Liqui Moly High Tech 5/40 and even some of the M1 and Amsoil oils don't use it. I think nearly all race oils have Moly, as do the HM oils.
Oddly enough the VOA looks very much like the LM Synthoil 5/40 I use.
