Oil for roller bearings

In roller bearing service, does anyone have any opinions about using Mobil SHC 634 in place of Mobil DTE HH?

Railroad Locomotive axle bearings. 525 RPM max.

Both are very good oils, unless you are having issues with the DTE, I would not think that the added expense for the Synthetic is needed.

I believe that many railroad bearings use silver and are not compatible with zinc AW additives. Please check this on your engine before purchasing oil.

thats in the engines the bearings are silver not lead based.
