ARX dosage

I am about to go visit my folks and some other relatives and it's not worth my time or their time on explaing how they shold run the cleaning/rinse phase and change out the filters and stuff like that. I am thinking about dumping 3 oz of autorx in all their cars and call it good. So the question is, is there any benefit to use maintenance dose on a engine without the initial cleaning?

My guess is that there is very little benefit in a maintenance dose on a one time basis. If you keep up with a maintenance dose, the long haul may show the benefits. JMO though.

Step 1, bring a set of work clothes, and a couple shop towels.

Step 2. Have your relatives all meet at your folks house, with a new oil filter for their cars.

Step 3. Put on your work clothes.

Step 4. Spin on all the new filters.

Step 5. Add a full bottle to each crankcase.

Step 6. Idle each motor for 5 minutes to dispurse the ARX.

Step 7. Tell each car operator to change the oil and filter in 1500 miles, this will get them into the rinse phase.

Step 8. Shower and put on clean cloths.

Step 9. Expect larger than normal birthday and Christmas gifts for at least 12 months.
