Reason i'm asking is:
a friend of mine had a valvatrain noise/tapping/slapping noises in his 98 Crown vic (4.6L) and he put a bottle of this Lubeguard product, and according to him, everything is now smooth (I wish he had done a uoa, but he's not interested in that sort of thing, he says)
I had told him about Synpower oil treatmtn a while ago, but he went with this, on advice of his "shade-tree" mechanic. I was thinking of using Synpower, but his experience got me thinking..
any info/advice on this is very welcome.
