If the fungus is on your feet, it will also be in your shoes, and in your carpet. You may want to get something to clean your carpets.

I cleaned my apartment good before I left to go on vacation as well as cloroxed my bathtub and bath area. I got 3 new pair of work/casual shoes, and some good foot powder. Foot is like 110% better, redness is gone also. No more pain when walking whatsoever.

thanks for the replies guys; I really appreciate everyones advice, knowledge on the matter.

Soaking your feet in vinegar changes the PH. Most fungi do not thrive in acid conditions. Also, use a good anti-fungal and let any shoes that you have worn sit and dry for several days at least.

Thanks for that info Cristobal, and yeah I plan to do a vinegar soak when I get home. Have a good anti fungal powder also. Threw my old work shoes out also, as when the foot was seeping, and such I wasnt taking any chances.
