Here's the results for the wife's Sentra. I've been concerned about fuel dilution since the sump is only 2.7 qts and it sees a lot of short trips. Apparently it's not an issue. I ran 2 qts PP 5w-30 plus 3/4 qt of PP 5w-20 left from another vehicle.

Any thoughts on the lead?

This is a combination of low sum capacity and short trips.

Reduce your miles on the oil to scale your wear to the sump capacity.

My Honda Fit has almost a full quart in extra capacity.

I doubt the lead is from a streak in the babbet bearing.

I would guess it is purely short trips and small sump.

Sentra 1.8's are known to have bad HG issues....there is a tiny bit of Potassium and Sodium here...no antifreeze, but could be the start of a problem

I believe it was only the earlier years of the 1.8, but I am not certain on that. Just like the issues with the QR25 in the Altima was only really 2002/2003.
