I picked up a bottle of Redline Diesel Fuel Catalyst today and added half of the bottle to a tank of BP diesel(the green stuff) in my 01 Golf TDI. The car seems to have a bit more pickup, but also seems to be smoking a little more than usual at WOT. When the cetane is boosted, does the engine/computer take some time to pick up on this? I never noticed increased smoke with powerservice in the tank. But on the upside, as I also percieve with powerservice, overall engine noise is much decreased.
