Ford 555B Backhoe Fluid 134

I need to change the hydraulic fluid in my 1986 Ford backhoe. The dealership wants a small fortune for type 134 Fluid. My professional mechanic says he can get an equivalent if I can tell him if its ISO 32 or ISO 46? Any thoughts?

In that tractor you use in EVERY sump but the engine fords 134 spec fluid, period. check around you can get off brand fluid that meets fords requirements.

According to my specs that fluid crosses to John Deere HyGard, I don't know what the price difference will be but the HyGard is very good fluid.

The viscosity @100C is 9.4, so the HyGard crosses to ISO 46.
