What wyrmrider said.

I would add, this is a 50 year old engine with a flat tappet cam. You need an oil with lots of of ZDDP. RTS-(6) is perfect for a turbo engine. I've been using it for years in my 89 turbo Caravan. (Still have 2 gallons left in my stash @$8/gal.) (=;

The experimental aircraft guys are using Rotella-T 15-40 in their Corvair engines with excellent results.

Great old car, NEED PICS!!

thanks

I didn't realize the Corvair came with a diesel engine back then.

ON of the car mags ran a story about the differences in parts used in the turbo Monza engine, with the turbo only parts laid out beside the car. Quite a layout.
