I changed the fuel filter about 10-15,000 mi ago, usually changed 15-20,000 miles. I usually only use Chevron Fuel, 87 octane and do not use fuel cleaners. I do offroad in this vehicle as it is a lifted Jeep grand cherokee.
I decided to replace it again today..pic below shows what was coming out of the input (dirty) side of the filter. It is normally not THIS dirty, it is about 2x as non transparent than usual
Do you think I am sucking dirt in through the filler tube or EVAP system somehow?
