i did a search on Seafoam. i have read all the threads and i am still confused about its application in the intake since i've seen conflicting ideas. i even emailed seafoam customer service & they just pasted the generic instructions to me.

here is what i've read (FI engine):

1a) if injecting into the PCV, do it this-way & that-way because you can hydrolock
1b) since seafoam is volatile, it is almost impossible to hydrolock

2a) spray into TB while the car is running
2b) do not apply with the engine running

also, i am still not clear which is better to remove carbon: feeding it thru the intake or gas tank?

i need a detailed idiot's guide to seafoam. ELP!

Going through the intake will have a MUCH bigger effect on carbon. Get Deep Creep, the aerosol version of seafoam. It is impossible to spray in too much with this.
