Can anyone tell me if the connoco/phillips Fleet Supreme is the same oil as the kendall super d 3?

The add package seems similar and they are both made by the same company.

The Kendall line usually had a stronger add pack and contains the extra additive titanium along with the moly. Other than that they're very similar.

In this case these two don't quite match.

I think the Conoco Hydroclear Power D fleet engine oil is the same as the Kendall Super-D 3.

Volk, are you sure that there is a difference in Kendall and other CP oils? Every one I've looked at has an identical twin or triplet quad with the Conoco or Phillips or 76 or Kendall labels.

Yes, there is a difference between them. 2 contain TI and I believe the other 2 don't. Kendall and The 76 are twins, conoco and 66 are the same but different from the other two. Here's the new pds.

In the pcmo, Kendall is different than 76, trop artic, and conoco. Kendall has more CA and the titanium.

In reference to this topic, I have a question. I am using the Motorcraft 15w40 in my 2002 F350 Powerstroke. I understand Conoco Phillips is the maker for Motorcraft oil. How does the Motorcraft 15w40 compare to the other 15w40 oils, made by Conoco-Phillips?

Thanks

Volk, I see what you're saying. In some cases CP puts a superior product under the Kendall label, and in other cases there are identical products under all the labels. For example, the Kendall & 76 Euro 5W-40 seem to be the same, and not available under the Conoco or Phillips labels. The Conoco, Phillips, & 76 syn blend 5W-20 seem to be the same and not available under the Kendall label. Some of the diesel titanium oils have Conoco, Phillips, & 76 brands on the same label. It does seem that CP is positioning their Kendall brand with their top line products.

Turbowhistle, you might see if you can find a technical data sheet for that Motorcraft oil and look for an exact match with a CP TDS. While there are many good reports from users of the Motorcraft oils, we don't know if they are the usual CP oils with a Motorcraft label, or if they are a unique blend to Ford's requirements.
