I changed my factory fill around 1500-2000. Then free dealer change about 3500 mi later. Dyno for these. I used Napa Gold cartridge filter, and it fit perfectly. I'm sure the dealer used Mopar. I'll put in synthetic soon (PP, PU, Syntec, or M1?) -- whatever I find on sale. Mine has close to 10K total. 0 issues. I'm waiting for it to explode -- as all Pentastars do

Just stick with 5w30, which meets Chrysler's spec. Change withing the guidelines of your manual, and you'll be fine.
