How are products like Auto-RX, Neutra, and Lubegard alike and different? I know that Auto-RX is derived in some manner from natural materials, and Neutra from Petroleum. Both contain esters, right? And Lubegard is derived from plant material and is liquid wax ester or something like that.

Auto-R is supposed to clean engine interiors and so is Neutra. The only thing I have heard about Lubegard is that it is supposed to reduce friction and wear.

How do the esters in these products differ from esters in some synthetic motor oils?

Lubegard makes several products.

I assume you are talking about their engine cleaner. (but they don't make promises about reducing friction for this product as I recall)

My only suspicion of Lubegard engine cleaner is that it's a short time in engine cleaner, so I don't see how it could clean well if composed of natural based esters.

I know nothing of Nuetra.
