So I changed the oil today and used Pennzoil 10w-40 yellow jug and a quart of 10w-30 Super Tech along with a NAPA Silver filter.
The difference is amazing. It is decibels quieter. The oil pressure is as good and almost better. I think I was wrong, not the flex plate but a lifter. I think I will look at a Seafoam as a possible solution with the next oil change. I figure the Pennzoil 10w-40 and the NAPA filter are good for that 4.0 in NJ in the summer! I love this Jeep!
