Yeah I dont know if I would blame the oil on that one.
 
Used VWB for years--actually no problems; but recently bought QSGB on sale. Vehicles run well with it also... Purchased it cause it was cheaper and recommended. Using QSUD also instead of M1--once again cheaper!! and vehicle running well.Never had a vehicle falter because of the oil that was used.So as long as the QS has good recomendations and good specs. and is cheaper I will continue to use it. Lots of good oil out there--I happen to like QS right now!!!!

Either one is fine. The only difference I have noticed, is the valvetrain is quieter when using QSGB vs Valvoline WB, and I have used both in my current vehicle 2 times each. IMO these are great 5K oils.
