We dropped the Purolator Classic L20252 oil filter after 600 miles and this is what we found. The glue line on the seam failed and was letting unfiltered oil through. We promptly took the rest of those filters back!
We thought about that but the glue line was spotty. It looked like the glue stage went awry on the assembly line. This filter failed in the middle. It exposed three holes.
