I have been watching this site for about 3 months and am amazed at the feedback on Auto-Rx! I have never been a "mechanic in a bottle" believer but the responses and testimonials on this site have convinced me to try Auto-Rx in my 89 Celica.
The car has 140,000 miles on it and has been well maintained with 3,000 to 5,000 mile oil changes. It has a few unidentified oil leaks and uses (or losses) about 1qt every 1,000 to 1,500 miles. I have not witnessed any blue smoke so I question whether it is actually burning oil or if it just leaks out. The leaks don't seem severe (at least when it's parked) because there are only 5-10 drops per day...I think it may be more severe when driving. Anyone out there have similar conditions with this car?
I just started the treatment today and will keep everyone posted on the results. I drive about 60 miles a day for work so it shouldn't take long to complete the first phase of the treatment.
