A question for all you Moly experts. What about

Lubrp Moly made inGermany by Liqui Moly GMBH.

This product states " Containging only pure

submicronic MoS2, in a suitable engine oil".

Is this additive corrosive to copper, or bearings?

I read the item from Cummings on corrosive moly.

I do not like suspended moly sulfides for motor oil formulations. For gear lubes and indutrial oils, moly sulfide powders are fine. However, moly in solution, such as moly dialkydithiocarbamtes are fine, which is the most common moly additive in today's engine oil formulations.

The so-called Cummins article is about an archaic form of moly. However, I have seen no real research to support that article.

Try this thread or do a search on "moly dithiophosphate"
