Here in Malaysia, Shell has introduced a Flushing Oil. Comes in a 4 litre pack and the usage is basically:
1. Drain the used oil
2. Fill engine with Shell Flushing Oil
3. Run engine for at least 5 mins
4. Drain the Flushing Oil
5. Replace engine oil & filter
What I wanna know is if this method (as opposed to adding a small bottle of flush into the engine together with the used oil prior to draining) has any benefits?
Secondly, anyone heard of this product in USA?
